Concorde Last Flight
Three flights landed at Heathrow airport within five minutes of each other, watched by thousands of onlookers on Friday afternoon.
The last transatlantic flight carried 100 celebrities from New York and touched down at 1605 BST.
As G-BOAF departed for the last time from Heathrow, fire tenders provided a water cannon arch. There was also a touching message from an American Airlines 777 as she taxied to line up. "Concorde, you are beautiful." he said simply.
And from the tower we heard a voice choked with emotion, "On behalf of my colleagues here in air traffic control and everyone that works in the tower, we are very sad to see you go. You are the one thing that makes us very proud to be working at Heathrow."
Popping the question at 60,000ft
An internet worker popped the question as Concorde reached top speed on its final flight to Scotland.
The aircraft was travelling at more than 1,300mph some 60,000 feet above the North Sea when Rupert Pilgrim asked girlfriend Catherine Murray to marry him.
The 35-year-old could not get down on bended knee because he had a tray of poached salmon and champagne on his lap.
But he still received a yes from 39-year-old Ms Murray, who said: "He chose a good moment."
The couple were among the competition winners on board the flight which left Heathrow on Friday morning.
