Gatwick Airport is Britain's second busiest airport is situated south of London and is a lot less busy than Heathrow. Many trans-Atlantic flights, as well as African destinations, depart from Gatwick airport and the airport consists of North and South Terminals, connected by a monorail.
Both terminals have exchange bureaux, ATMs, airport information desks, shops, duty-free outlets, restaurants and bars. There is a post office in the South Terminal and an adjacent medical centre in Ashdown House offering immunisations.
Gatwick North Terminal has separate arrival areas for domestic and international flights. International arrivals take up to 50 minutes to clear baggage and customs/immigration.

Both terminals have bureaux de change, ATMs, shops, duty-free outlets, restaurants and bars. There is a post office in the South Terminal and an adjacent medical centre in Ashdown House offering vaccinations. Stamps are available from bureaux de change and from newsagents. The Internet Exchange Internet café can be found in the South Terminal International Departures lounge where passengers can gain Internet access, send e-mails, play computer games and receive computer training. Eating and drinking: There are many restaurants, bars and cafés located in both terminals.
