A selection of German carriers, with emphasis upon budget airlines. It should be noted that all national carriers accross Europe operate multiple services connecting major cities.
Air Berlin
A German airlines connecting London Stansted to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain and Portugal, Air Berlin allows 20 kg of baggage and offers child fares at 67 per cent of full fare. Fares to Germany and Spain start at €19 one-way including taxes.
Germania Express
German airlines flies from Berlin Tegel, Dusseldorf, Hamburg and Munich to cities across Europe.
GermanWings
GermanWings are another German airlines flying from Dublin, Edinburgh, Gatwick and Stansted to Cologne-Bonn and to 25 European cities from Cologne-Bonn. The luggage allowance is 8 kg, cats and dogs weighing up to 8 kg also count as hand baggage and there are no child fares, but infants (up to two years) can fly for €5. Fares start at €19 one-way with taxes.

The German airlines Hapag-Lloyd based xpress is a subsidiary of TUI AG, the world's largest travel and tourism enterprise. The airline flies from Dublin to Hamburg and Stuttgart; Newcastle to Hanover (the airline's base) and Manchester to Cologne-Bonn and Stuttgart. This German airlines flights start at €19 one-way and there are regular special fares. From Cologne-Bonn they fly to 15 destinations in Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Austria, Switzerland, Majorca and Sardinia.

Flights are available from Manchester to Niederrhein-Düsseldorf, and from there to Copenhagen and Munich. Flights to Malaga from Niederrhein-Düsseldorf will start on 12 July costing between €59 and €179 one-way including taxes.
