Alitalia
Italy's national carrier offers economy and business class flights from the UK to Rome, Milan and other destinations in Italy, Europe and worldwide. Alitalia operates flights from Heathrow and also sells flights from Manchester, Southampton, Bristol, Edinburgh and Aberdeen in conjunction with Air France and other partners. The Italian airlines offers child fares and infants fly for 10 per cent of the regular adult fare.
Alpi Eagles - Alpi Eagles suspended all its flights starting January 3, 2008
Operates flights between eight Italian airports and also flies to Athens and Barcelona. The Italian airlines has recently launched flights between Budapest and Venice.
Azzurra Air
A private Italian airline operating scheduled flights and charter flights to Spain, Greece, Holland, Egypt, Portugal and other Mediterranean destinations.
Evolavia
A low-fare Italian airlines operating out of Ancona Airport since 2002, which offers low-cost flights to the following destinations: Barcelona, Paris, Moscow, Trapani, Copenhagen, Alghero and Athens. Prices start at €90 (£60) excluding taxes.
Meridiana
Connects thirteen Italian airports, and also flies to Amsterdam, Barcelona, London and Paris.
Volare
Connects 13 Italian airports (Bari, Bologna, Brindisi, Cagliari, Catania, Lamezia Terme, Lampedusa, Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa, Milan Orio al Serio, Naples, Olbia and Palermo) to Albania, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Romania, Spain and the UK. Italian airlines Volareweb has teamed up with Hapag-Lloyd Express and is operating flights with the German airline.
Windjet
Operates domestic low-cost flights connecting eight Italian airports.
