Southeast Airlines
Southeast Airlines is headquartered in Largo, Florida. The airline was founded in 1992 under U.S. Department of Transportation regulations as a Part 121 Supplemental carrier. Southeast Airlines meets the exact same maintenance and service requirements as commercial airlines such as Delta Airlines, American Airlines, United Airlines, etc.
The difference between Southeast Airlines and the other carriers is how we sell seats to the public. Under federal regulations we are classified as a charter airline and that simply means that we must escrow each passenger?s funds paid in advance of travel dates in a federally approved depository bank until that passenger has traveled. This provides the maximum consumer protection possible.
Reservations
Southeast Airlines reservations department is staffed with friendly, knowledgeable agents who are there to assist you in booking your itinerary. You may call anytime during our regular business hours to speak with an agent. You may also book online at any time.
Southeast Airlines accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Check Cards as form of payment. If you are making a last minute reservation and do not have a credit or debit card, you may pay and book through any travel agency of your choosing. We will also accept money order and check payment at the ticket counter, however you will not have a confirmed seat until payment is made.
Our Reservation Center hours are: Monday to Sunday, 6 AM to 12 AM EST/EDT
Fleet of Aircraft
Southeast Airlines has a fleet of eight (8) modern passenger jet aircraft manufactured by McDonnell Douglas (acquired by Boeing in 1999). The fleet utilizes two of the most popular models operated by airlines worldwide: DC-9-30 twin jet aircraft for flights of three hours or less and MD-80 twin jet aircraft for longer flights and/or greater number of passengers. All of our jet aircraft meet current FAA standards and the engines are all Stage III noise compliant.
